Almost everyone has had this happen, you get a text or an email from someone and they say "you've been hacked". You halfway panic and wonder how this happened to YOU!?!?
These are the first things you should do: 1. Go to a different computer than the one you primarily use (a phone or tablet will do) and immediately change your password. Make sure you have a healthy dose of "special characters" The reason for the requirements of those characters as well as capital letters and numbers is so that computer programs that randomly guess or "brute force" your password, will have a much, much harder time arriving at your password if you have secured it properly. If your password is "bama", well, it won't take that long for a computer to hack that password. 2. Make sure that your Anti-Virus is up to date and that your computer is acting out of the ordinary. 3. What is a good virus protector to have?? Kinda tired of the one you buy and keep receiving pop ups from them you need this && and now this $$ and this $$
